The Offshore Energy Research Association (OERA) has been commissioned by the Nova Scotia Department of Energy (NSDoE) to execute a Request for Proposals (RFP) process – that will lead to retaining the services of a project team to undertake further work related to a study commissioned by the NSDoE in 2011 entitled “Marine Renewable Energy Infrastructure Assessment“.  Since the 2011 study, new tidal developers have been awarded projects in the Bay of Fundy and these developers exploit different technologies that those contemplated four years ago.  The developers have advanced their plans for deployment in the immediate future and have built familiarity with the infrastructure at the region’s ports and with capacity of the local service and supply chain.  This new study is to provide additional details on the marine renewable infrastructure available to service this industry as it moves towards commercialization.

Request for Proposals (RFPs), are due on or before Monday, April 18th, 2016 at 4:00 pm AST.

Proposals should be submitted to the following secure FTP site at: https://oera.sharefile.com/r-r1f793a804ce45f4b
